AWE TOPEKA was organized in 1993 through the Small Business Development Center at Washburn University by a group of entrepreneurial women. These women sought to create a supportive and educational opportunity and meet the distinct needs of the female business owner.

AWE Topeka meets from Noon to 1 PM on the 4th Tuesday of every month. To simplify our lunch options we are eliminating the inexpensive lunch option and will be providing a “light” lunch from Shoppers Kitchen (ie… sliders, wraps, pinwheels etc…) Of course, you are also welcome to bring a brown bag lunch if you desire.
